Nuts Magazine 'Premier League 2013/14'

Like I said a few weeks back, it’s about that time and now the new Premier League season 2013/14 is upon us! Nuts magazine commissioned me to create 5 illustrations for their ‘Ultimate Premier League Guide’.

This is the second year in a row I have been commissioned by Nuts to illustrate their Premier League guide. This year the art director asked me to illustrate the players in black and white with their kits in full colour and a half tone backdrop, much like the 'Dwayne Wade' illustration he had seen on my website. The players featured are: Vincent Kompany, Frank Lampard, Theo Walcott, Tom Cleverly Robin Van Persie and David Luiz. I most give massive thanks to my friends at IPC Media as this was yet another awesome project to work on!

Gareth Bale, Spurs or Real?

Yep! It’s about that time. The new premiership season is almost upon us. As within every pre-season transfer window, there will be massive players moving from they’re current clubs for astronomic fees. At the upmost of all current speculation is Tottenham’s PFA player of the year Gareth Bale and the massive interest from Real Madrid. I created this piece in showing Gareth Bale in split attire of both Real and Spurs Kits.

Sercet World - Book Cover

Here is my latest self-initiated project which is a mock-up book cover entitled ‘Secret world’.

The story line is that the foreground character Jake, goes to stay with his grand parents for a week. He spends a lot of time up in his Dad’s old room. His Grand Mother warns him not to touch his Dad’s old belongings and she makes Jake promise not to touch the box on top of the wardrobe.

Jake is unable to resist the temptation and later that night he climbs up to the top of the wardrobe, takes the box down and opens it. Within a second a sparkling glow appears and Jake is whisked off to a futuristic land of magic, heroes, villains. In which that very box Jake open has tremendous powers and it's up to him to save the world of ‘Rezulaor’ from the evil forces. 

Baroness

This is a portfolio piece entitled 'Baroness' that I created as a tribute to G.I. Joe: Rise Of the Cobra.

Mortgage Strategy Cover Illustration

I completed this cool cover illustration for Mortgage Strategy earlier on this month. Here are the PDF’S I’ve just received from the art director. My brief was to illustrate George Osborne with a silhouette of Margret Thatcher as his shadow. This illustration was the cover image and also used to accompany a double page spread entitled ‘Chasing Shadows’. Which delves into the constant comparisons being made between George Osborne’s and the late Margaret Thatcher’s housing marketing strategies.
